How do you handle baby tantrums?

Okay so this morning my son threw the biggest tantrum he has ever thrown. It was scary.

I wouldn't give him his toothbrush to play with as I am tired of buying new ones after he gives them to the dogs etc.

He is sick at the moment but after that tantrum his chest was clear!

I chose to shower in the main bathroom and he stood next to the bath and screamed and screamed until he looked like Barney.

I have never seen such a cross kid before and it went on for ever, but I stood my ground and didnt' give in.

Yip you have to have thick skin to be a mommy.

Julz, EVERY time I put her in her car seat, she throws a tantrum. Naughty! I just ignore her...

Dylan does it alot too. He threw his first in a shop the other day. I wanted to disown him.

I tend to just ignore him. I don't give in and give him what he wants or my message to him is that he will be rewarded for acting up.

It passes quite quickly.
