Thanks for all your inputs ladies!!

So it would seem that the Ubba Bubba one is best until a few months old, and then the African baby carrier for when they are older...

Decisions, decisions...

Thanks again for all your help!

took me a while to decide between om baba and african baby carrier, eventually settled on the african baby carrier.

I initially bought a Woolworths baby carrier when logan was about 6 weeks old. It was nice, but tricky to do up with prestuds and buckles and he started looking uncomfortable in it around 3 months - too tall for arms to go through the arm holes, but too short for them to go over.

Then I discovered mei tai's and bought one from www.ombaba.co.za when he was about 4 months old. Absolutely LOVE it! Can be used from newborn up to about 3 years old - front and back carries.

I used the UbbaBaba wrap, loved it.
Like Yaz said there are many makes so see what you like.
Brilliant buy I could not have managed without it.
I also have the African Baby carrier, which works well now that my lg is older.

I loved my baby wrap! There are many different makes out there, but the principle is the same with all of them. Best to google 'baby wrap' and see which one you like best .9
