Reflux - Gaviscon

Berry I agree with Anthea, I wouldn't use it unless prescribed by the pead.

Emily went on to reflux meds @ 12 weeks. We started on ulsanic (I think that's what it's called) 3 times for 3 days - it's like Gaviscon - and she has been on Nexium once a day since then.

Did the paed prescribe the Gaviscon? I wouldnt give it haphazardly unless instructed to do so by the paed... My LG was also prescribed Gaviscon... But we also elevated her about 30cm with a positioner each time she slept!

Also keep her upright for 30mins after a feed...

Hi Everyone,

I was told to give my baby 1ml of Gaviscon after every bottle to help with his reflux.

I would like to know if anyone has used Gaviscon for their babies and if so did it make a difference?
