Hi there,

I am going to try to express as well. Will see how it goes. I express about 100ml when I need to. I wonder if I will be able to express more. They say breastmilk can stay in the freezer for 3 months so I should try from now to express everyday.

Soon our little ones will be eating solids so at least we won't have to worry to much about them being hungry.

Who will be looking after your baby when you go back to work?

Hi Maries,

I was just chatting to my husband about that. I'm going to try and express, but if this does not work too well, I will go for substituting the missed ones with formula. I'm hoping the expressing will go well, would prefer for him to be on breastmilk right through the winter at least.

I agree with you, having a little one and a baby is hard work to share all the attention between them and keep both happy. Both my older boys absolutely adore the baby. My 3 year old is hectic, he just wants to touch, hug, kiss and hold him the whole time he's awake.

Well, hope you have a good weekend too, today was freezing. Going to watch the Bulls rugby now.

:) Hi Haidee,

I am also not looking forward to going back to work. I go back on 01 July. Are you going to express or substitute the missed feeds with formula?

We are thinking of having one more, but we shall see... The first month was hectic with my LB and seeing to a 4 year old who also needs attention.
How are your boys with the little one?

Time is flying by.... I want to enjoy every moment of being at home!

I will try to load some pics from my laptop. I am using my phone to reply.

Have a good weekend...

Hi Maries!!!

Great to hear from you and that all is well.

I try to stretch my little man for 4 hours during the day, but sometimes he is just hungry too soon then I also just give him some milk.

Another thing I was worried about, was that if one feeds on demand during the day, would they sleep well at night...good to hear that it is possible. Mine also sleeps really well so far during the night.

I cannot believe that the time has flown so fast! One of these days our precious babies will be three months old, then that baby-ness is gone for good!!

Are you planning on having more? I know I asked you before, but cannot remember.

I will be going back to work on the 20th of June. My heart is breaking already, I don't want to leave my baby!!!! :(

Post some pics of your little boy!!

My boy is 9 weeks old. Things are getting Better. He sleeps at 8 and wakes at 3am and then 6 am. During the day I feed on demand.

When do you return to work?
