PS: Check out Keedo's range of Shoo Shoes... they are only made for the Keedo Group and very different to the others you will find elsewhere...

Leagorge:

I have done some shoe shopping lately... :)

I don't know if you live close to a Rage store? They stock fancy shoes in baby sizes. I once got a pair of the most beautiful silver glitter shoes for my LG. It reminded me of the shoes of Dorrothy in the wizard of ozz.
I must add that I never got to get her to wear it longer than 30 minutes as I could see that she was uncomfortable with the shoes. So, I agree with the other posters....softer shoes for a baby would be best - although I know not as pretty.

I agree... Shoo Shoes are the best for growing feet. Parents create so many problems for the kids feet later in life by introducing fancy shoes too early. The soles of those shoes are too hard for their developing soles...

Hi,

For functionality I really like the shoo shoos range, they're soft and comfy. You could probably find something to match a suit at the Oriental Plaza (if you're in Jhb), I recently went looking for shoes to match a suit for my 1 year old and saw lots of formal black shoes for small boys (although I don't know how small they go). I ended up buying a pair of black Nikes for him though because I wanted something that would be comfy and he wouldn't only wear once (but then he's walking so I need his shoes to be practical!)

Hi Moomies,

My hubby and I have been invited for a wedding soon. We have bought our son a cute little suit to wear for the occassion. Unfortunately, we cannot find shoes to match :(
I have been to Woolies, Edgars, Cotton On, Jet, Ackermans, Naartjie....and lots more stores. All they have for boys are sandals or takkies.....and not much to choose from anyway. Stores like Mr Price and PnP dont even stock infant boys shoes!
Don't boys need shoes as well as girls???

Are there any Moomies out there who have the same problem?

I guess we're going with the socks that look like shoes......
