TanyaS, I perceive from your post that you took offence from my post. I think you missed the part in my post where I said that that is my personal opinion. You also missed where I said that each mom makes the best decision for their own babies. My point is that, like everything else, an informed decision needs to be backed up by research on both sides.

I personally won't do it but if it helps your baby, then that is great and you obviously would do the best for your baby.

Amy, when my LG was little I found that she was one of those for whom telament made the cramps worse. I know that it happens with a small percentage and when I switched to gripe water it helped.

It help us and our screaming baby, we went to proffesional accredited pediatric chiro.

I didnt "subject" my baby to anything aweful.

Please just read up on accredited and published and proper research before deciding whether or not to take your baby to a Chiropractor.

Personally I think it is a pseudoscience and wouldn't subject my baby to it. That being said, each one to his own and I still believe each mom makes the best decisions for their own babies.

sorry to hear baba isnt well. Is baby on formula or breast. As if breast it might be something in your diet and if formula it might be the type of formula that doesnt go will with his system. A few ladies with similar problems I know of also use a warm cloth on babies tummy during intense cramping. I would suggest getting him tested for allergies as at least that migh help find out if he is not allergic to something in formula or breast (depending on which you give him). Ask his pead to do allergy tests to rule out possible extra causes, then decide with your pead on other formulas, maybe hyperallergenic(sp) formula. Its frustrating to see your lo in such pain. And also like one mom said try a chiro, one who is experienced in babies with reflux.

Seeing a chiro really makes me nervous but thanks for the info, I went to check out his vid! Also tried to get some iberogast but apparently it's discontinued sigh!
