Hi,

I took my LG for 3 sessions when she was 6 weeks old, she suffered from silent reflux and was generally miserable between 4 and 8 weeks old. The dr was absolutely amazing, but LG screamed her little head off. The first appointment was ok, but she was absolutely hysterical during the other two visits.

I think it helped her, she was a C-section baby and definitely needed some spinal adjustment, even if it didn't make a massive difference to her reflux.

The important thing to remember is that a chiro is not a magician, they can't solve sleeping problems or medical issues within a few appointments. It's all just part of a bigger plan of action.

Hi Faffymom

I am a BIG chiro fan! We go regularly just for check ups. I am not sure what the difference with cranio is, but I do know the results are amazing. I know a wonderful cranio in Joburg. Where are you based?

Hi Faffymom

I took my first LG to Chiropractor, she had issues with reflux/colic and was not sleeping well. She was also a c-section baby.

I took her about 3 times in total.

LG enjoyed it and was so calm during and after the sessions. In my view it definitely helped, LG slept much better afterwards. If you decide to take your LG, just make sure it is a Chiro that has has experience with infants.

Never heard of a cranio sacral therapist.

Good luck with your decision

Hi ladies. I was just wondering whether a chiropractor helped for your baby? I have read that they can help babies by reducing cramps and improving latch. Did you have a good or bad experience? How do you know it's necessary for your baby? what is the difference between a chiropractor and a cranio sacral therapist? Lastly, how many sessions did you need?

Thank you ;)
