Hey Ladies,

Paige is 15 months now and still not a great sleeper, I think some kids have it in them and others don't :(

Chanz have you tried elevating the top of the cot, so your son is laying inclined, this usually helps with Reflux, also are you giving him anything- we put Paige on Losec and it helped so much when she was little

We go through phases where Paige will sleep well and then weeks of poor sleep, I started to feel better about it when I resigned my self to the fact hat this was how it was going to be for a while. I am too much of a softie to sleep train... but I am trying to place her in her cot and stand next to the cot and stroke her hair etc until she looks like she is about to nod off then I stop she she learns to fall asleep on her own...

we will see

Desiree, at around 7 weeks of age 'most' babies drop one feed, usually the 11pm (depends on your routine) one. That being said, my LG dropped her 11pm feed at 9 weeks. There isn't a hard or fast rule on this one.

I know they say at 6 months babies don't need any feeds during the night but for me this is a personal choice and it doesn't always mean that your baby won't wake up a couple of times per night.

Just remember that with a young baby 'sleeping through' is considered a 5 - 7 hour stretch. Which for someone like me who goes to sleep after 11pm usually means that B wakes up (for a feed then back to sleep) just as I want to go to sleep!

Hi ladies - My little baba is only 4 weeks old now, and as a newborn I'm still feeding him every 3-4 hours depending on him obviously!

I know I shouldn't expect any miracles in terms of him sleeping through yet, but, when can I expect him to sleep a little longer at least? And feed less frequently? Does that only come much later?

Good luck to you all on the sleep training - I'm also a fan of the Babysense method and will implement that when Connor is ready and older :)

We are trying the babysense sleep sense method... i too cant stand my baby crying so we trying out utmost best to not make her cry but at the same time try and help her sleep.

Hi there

Jsannie, so glad you got a good night's rest! I wish mine want to sleep through :( She sometimes still wakes up hourly every night..she's 9 months now.

Lata, shame man! What kind of sleep training are you doing? I've ordered a book that's sleep training without the crying (I'm a softie :( ) so I'm really hoping it will work! I haven't slept properly in MONTHS!

Wow thats awesome :) Its funny how we always go and check to see if something is wrong and they are always sleeping so soundly. I am trying sleep training with my LG... the third night was fabulous she slept from 1815 - 0400 but last night ...gosh she was awake from 215 till 400 this morning. I am shattered today!!
