heart Birthday Party hints and tips

Have a look at venues. It can actually work out quite cost effective. Dylan's first birthday party cost about 2800.00 and we didnt' have to lift a finger before or after.

We just did a colour theme so it was nice and bright. At this age although they love barney etc they really don't care what the decor looks like so go cheap.

I spent hours baking his first cake and we added a smash cake for him to enjoy.

Mom of Dylan and Partner to Joerg. We live in the Beautiful Pringle Bay which is along the Whale coast, Cape.

jsannie, can you please post a thread in the goods and services category with details of what you do and offer? Just in case the mommies are interested, with contact details and perhaps a couple of pics if you have some?

Thanks so much!

Most of our mommies have already passed the first birthday mark, but some mommies are fast approaching this momentous occasion.

Share your hints, tips etc on pulling off the perfect first (or subsequent) birthday party!

Give us ideas on:

* Themes
* Games
* Food (for parents and kids)
* Where to buy decorations (themed or not)
* Cakes, cupcakes designs, great shops to buy from or how to make your own
* General tips on making it special

Anything you can think of! Come share :D
