Thanks for all the advice. I was at Woolies, Pick & Pay, Checkers, Builders, i live in Pretoria but still seems our shops are bad! They dont keep ANYTHING.

I have not seen them in the shops, only the cute umbrellas at Toys R Us.

Theyve got the nicest dinosaur boots too, but its R265 per pair.

They started it about 24 months ago - I think - I buy crocs for my kids there, and also polar fleece stuff - as it is really good polar fleece that does not get balls on it.

The one at Canal Walk has a bigger selection, but most of the stores have an area with kids stuff on display. I do not think they go to smaller than a 2 year old at this stage, but I could be wrong.

Really good stuff for winter if you are looking for quality things. I buy cheaper stuff from Ackermans, and then buy a few key items from Cape Union.

I had no idea that Cape Union Mart sold kiddie clothes. I should check it out next time.

Yep - I am also keen on a kids raincoat, so keen to know who has got good ones. I do tend to get winter warm stuff from Cape Union Mart - the jackets aren't give away, but the quality is excellent and lasts for more than one season if you buy it a little bigger.

I passed my son's to my daughter, so it definitely gets its money's worth.

I stopped at the Ballet Box in Tyger Valley on the weekend and they had the most divine pink and blue umbrellas. The pink ones had all the ballet positions, so for budding dancers.

We got ours at the Toy Shop. I also saw cute ones at Woolies this past weekend. So maybe check at your nearby Woolies.

What I need is a rain coat for LO. I can't find it anywhere, not the toy shop, toys/babies r us or Woolies. Anyone have any idea where to find those. Sorry to hijack your post JD

I bought some at Woolworths a few years ago for a friends little boy. Don't know if they still sell them though.
