The BF consultant sister in the hospital made my hubby go buy telament drops, it did make a difference. This time I've already packed a bottle in my hospital bag. The sister recomended I put a drop on my nipple before a feed. Later I put it on the dummy.

We only used it for about 8 weeks and I BF up to almost 9 months (when I fell pregnant again...) I don't think I would have carried on BF if it wasn't for telament. My son had terrible reflux because of a difficult birth. I wasn't ready to give him gaviscon, but the telament helped a lot. I had to give it before feeding, between breasts and after feeding. Just one small drop at a time.

Natura also has a colic mix tissue salt. We used that some days and it worked great for colic.

When my LG was girl, my paed recommended COLIEF. Its pricey, but when you read up on how it works, it makes sense. I was reluctant to use it or anything but eventually at her 6 week check up the paed was still recommending it! It did make a difference. I only used it for 2 months and eventually was only giving it at night when she was at her worst.

I am still not sure if she had colic or it was just digestive problems. With BF it is always a mission to get medicaine down and too much drama! I thought you couldnt give telament drops undiluted? Not sure.

If all else fails, Colief works. It is to do with the enzymes and I guess works in a similar way to Probiotics - the Reutri drops are also still the best!

I think its safe to administer at a young age, but dont give it too hastily.
A 2 day old baby is still adjusting to the world, and for those first 2 weeks or so their digestive systems are adjusting big time to taking in milk. It may require a bit of patience, and other remedies like massaging their tummies, heat etc.

My paed said gripe water from 2w and telament from 6w only. Your baba is very young for anything other than milk without a specific sayso from your clinic or paed I would think... Why don't you give your clinic a call? Good luck!
