I use the mother nature, but also had a friend give me a biobaba nappy that she was given to try. I'm very happy with the mother nature nappies. With the night booster they can go a nights sleep, although I must admit they are saturated by the folowing morning. I find also that at night the fleece waterproof thing is best (I really doubted this when I first tried it) It means that the following morning hs babygro is slightly damp, but not wet enough to cause problems, but it allows some evaporation at night which means his nappy i less wet. During the day I use both the cheap waterproofs that you get at Ackermans and mothernature ones. The MN waterproof is quite pricey, so I didnt buy too many of these (I only have 2) but you can use it for a number of changes. It fits lovely and snug so I actually prefer it. he Ackermans waterproofs tend to be a bit bulky over the nappy, but they keep the water off his clothes.
The mothernayure nappies fit snuggly. I chose them because: They were cheaper than the biobaba and bambinomia systems.(bambinomia you cantuse the cheap waterproofs with) I liked the fact that they came in white, because if they are a little stained I can scrub with green sunlight soap and put them in the sun to bleach them white again (you cant use bleach) and they go to all sizes. Negatives are: Apparently for smaller babies they do leak (I had a 3.9kg baby so this was never an issue), they are bulkier on the bottom then the bambinomia, but I love his big bum, and as he has gotten bigger, this is no longer an issue.
I go through about 8 nappies a day and wash every 2nd day. The MN bulkyness does mean they take longer to dry, but I find that a sunny day is sufficient. In the wet I use my dribuddy. I have 28 nappies just to make up for the extra drying time:)
