My LG hasn't had bowel movements in 5 days

How old is your child?

My daughter was nearly 5 months when she didnt pass a stool for 24 hours. She eventually tried and as she tried, she was pushing so hard that she was vomiting through her mouth and nose and passed out . We rushed to hospital not knowing what was wrong, we got there and her stools were just very hard and she struggled and was tired and decided to sleep. That is not any experience I want any mom to have to go through.

I would say 5 days is too long, see a pead.

Can you get a glycerine suppository for immediate relief? You can add olive oil to the bottle (1 tsp) or else a daily dose of laxette will help regulate the stools.

Consitpation leads to further constipation as the child holds it in to prevent painful stools being passed.

Help please....what must I do?
she's on solids, BF and formula, after solids she actually started to have more than usual, almost everyday.
I think it might be the rice cereal, is the last thing I introduced, how can I help her?
I don't know where to find prune juice.(we're in a village in Israel) so its not easy to find everything.
