Thanks Claire

Ladies, please say a prayer for my nephew. He was admitted to hospital yesterday afternoon and breathing got alot worse during the night. Just spoke to my sister now and he has been admitted to ICU. So scared for the little boy - he is still so tiny :(

Ask the pead for a referal to have a stool test done to rule out lactose intolerance or a milk allergy.

Liam was also very snotty, wheezy and coughed a lot from birth, landed up in hospital with Bronchalitis at 12 weeks, was on an asthma pump for months, we went to peads, homeopaths, natural healers etc, and nothing helped until my MIL reminded me that there was a history of lactose intolerance in the family.

Did the stool test, changed to Isomil and have not looked back. Liam is now 22 moonths old, out grew the intolerance around 18 months and is as healthy as an ox

He should go back. Dr Theart is really good.

He may have caught another bug in the meantime.

Poor kid.

Julz - you use the same pead (Dr. Theart). He does suffer from reflux, but could that cause the wheezing as well?? The wheezing is getting worse, so she will probably take him to the paed after all. Just hope he does not have to stay in hospital again. He had Physio for the 4 days in hospital and then everyday for 7 days afterwards. It was fine for a week or so, but now it's back :(

No, it was a vaginal delivery. Not sure about whether any drugs were used. I can't remember now - he is adopted, we got a portfolio with all the info on his birth, etc. But don't know any family history from the dad's side, so not sure if there were asthma problems, etc in the family either :(
