I also took my LO to the doc yesterday. She was also rubbing her ear & saying "eina" on accasion, runny nose, coughing at night & waking up with a hoarse voice.

Doc said ears, throat & sinusses are slighty infected but if we leave it untreated, it could flair up and be really bad.

Keep an eye on her and take her to the doc if you are in doudt.

There is a horrible bug going round at the moment - if she develops a runny nose and or fever, do take her to the doc. Both my LO's had it and it took us more than two weeks to get them back to their normal selves.

It started with sore ears and since it caused an infection in the sinus and ear and throat, they did not want to open their mouthes to eat anything. It was very stressful...

So do keep an eye on her, if she doesn't want to open her mouth to wide, or if she is moaning more than usual. Take her to see someone. However, both my babies had fevers over 40 and was exceptionally difficult.

Hope it is nothing and that she was just a bit tired. Good luck!

Angelsmom, I think if it was an ear infection she would have a fever, would refuse to have you touch her ear, and also would not be able to lie down without screaming.

Ems only had one ear infection and that is what happened with her.

Good luck

Hi Mommy's

Last night my daughter was so restless and she didn't want to feed at all. This carried on till about 9. First I thought it was her gums bothering her as every time I massaged them using ashton and parson she would stop screaming. But it turns out it wasn't because when I touch her ear she would close her eyes as if to sleep. So I held her while I gently pressed her ear, she eventually fell asleep and woke up this morning to feed. She is not running a fever, just restless and screams.

Could this be an ear infection? I am not sure what to look out for
