Baby's skin

I'm using unscented vaseline 4 my lb's face,its clear and not so dry anymore.He used 2 get a rash even if I applied aqueous cream and nutraderm moisturizer.

I used Vaseline throughout winter when she was younger as her skin was terribly dry and flaky, its fine now.

I use Epizone A and E, to wash and moisterize. U can get it at Clicks. Sometimes J & J can be to harsh.

My LG is 7weeks old, she had a rash a few weeks ago, the rash is almost gone. I haven't been using anything on her face, just wasged it with cotton wool.
I have noticed that her skin is now dry and flaky. I have started putting aqueous cream (not fragranced). However her skin is still dry.
Is it okay if I use vaseline on her skin? I've been using J&J's products.
Or should I change the product?
What are you ladies using on your babies face besides J&J products?
