Totally. My mom said Dylan was so beautiful after he was born and I asked my mom to be honest if he wasn't because I thought he was so perfect. Now when I look at those baby photo's of him he looks like all the other babies.

I now think he is the most gorgeous toddler. :

Mom of Dylan and Partner to Joerg. We live in the Beautiful Pringle Bay which is along the Whale coast, Cape.

Do you think there is something chemically/hormonally that makes us look at our babies and think (and believe) that they are the most beautiful babies in the world?

When I lean over and pick my daughter up in the morning, I literally gush like a love-struck teenager, and literally think SHE HAS TO BE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL baby in the world.

But I think all moms must think this as well - there is something about a young baby that must trigger something in our head that makes our eyes see perfection when we see our kids.

Clearly an evolutionary mechanism, so we do not abandone them under a banana tree somewhere.

I have a letter from my pdoc to say I am insane, so tread lightly with me, some days I can be a total bitch. I'm lying. Most days I am a total bitch.

I abhor smiley face icons. Just saying.
