Hi morgan

It may be oral thrush which is perfectly normal for babies to get. Daktarin oral gel is the best but expensive and if it is thrush all of the teats and dummies need to be properly sterilised in boiling water for 10 min to kill the fungus or it will continue.

Good luck. xxx

P.S. 5 drops of Reutri drops will also help. x

Hi Morgan - I am also a bottle mommy, and what I do is after a feed I let Connor suck on his dummy after it has been dipped in glycerine, it cleans the milk off his tongue nicely.

My beautiful baby boy, Connor Troy, was born on 20 March 2010 and my 2nd gorgeous boy, Cullen Reece, was born on 2 September 2011 - I am very blessed indeed

Just check that it is not thrush, in which case it is easily treated, but you must continue treatment for as long as they say even if sysmptons disappear.

Please be sure first that it isn't Oral Thrush. Do not try and scrape it off. Milk will build up but it will will not be bothersome but as Morgan said water may help. thrush appears mostly on the tongue but will also be on the inside of the cheeks and baby will have difficulty sucking. Daktarin Gel is the best for this.

Im not too sure at what age babies begin with a bottle of water, but I know that this helps to clean the mouth and tongue.
