Doing it the African way

Hello mums,

I had a chat with BD's mom last night, I was telling her how concerned I am about my LG's coughing. She has a cough that just won't go away and when I took her to the doc he said that her chest was fine. He advised that I get a humidifier.
She said to me I must give her cot liver oil *not sure of the spelling* mixed with sweet oil ka teaspoon. She says it works wonders.

So I had a thought, how about we mums share tips that have worked for you from our elders.

I haven't tried it yet but I will give her the mixture today.
