BATH RINGS

I bought a bath ring for my little girl and she injoys it so much!
But never leave them alone in the bath, sometimes they try to wiggle their way out to get to the bath toys

Roxy I'm so glad that you asked this question! I was considering buying one next month for the same reason. But I think from the answers here I'm rather going to buy a non slip mat. Anyone know where I can find one for a reasonable price? The ones I've seen so far are expensive.

I used one for both boys and I loved it ! It gave them the freedom to move around and play, without being held by a parent.
And it gave me the freedom to play with the bubbles and toys in the bath and give them a good giggle.

I must admit, that until you get used to it, it can be awkard getting them in and out, but once you find the "trick" it's easy as pie.

As for making them lazy, I don't see how sitting in it for a 20 minute bath can make them lazy when they have the whole day to play and explore

Dont spend a fortune on one, I think I paid about R70 for it. I used mine on and off for LO who is now 11 months. IT did help, but I have also been told that it makes them "lazy" to learn to sit by themselves. I believe everything in moderation.

i bought one for that inbetween stage where my lg didnt quite sit on her own yet and didnt want to lie anymore. In my opinion its a waste! It was so uncomfortable getting her in and out, i only ever used it ONCE!! You are more than welcome to have it!

I found the non slip mats more usable as you can hold baby with one hand and wash with the other and they dont slip around, a sponge that they can sit on works just as well.

I used the sponge that came with the ring so it wasnt a complete waste!!

I used a bath ring for both my boys when they were little, not for long though.
I just got a really cheap one so it was worth it for me. As soon as they were able to sit properly I just got a non slip mat for them to sit on.
