Chewing on dummy and bottle teat!

My daughter does the same. it is teething if they are that little. some days her gums are swollen the next day it is gone!!!!

My lb also did this. I think is it also due to teeth cutting through & the biting/chewing eases the gums.

My boy bit through so many Nuk teats & even dummys.... He literally made a big hole in his teats, lol

After a few weeks, he stopped. So hopefully your lg will also stop once her gums stop itching / paining.

Hi, my daugther does the exact same thing. She will chew on her dummy (but this is more playing though) and she recently started chewing on the teats of her bottles - but this is definately due to teething.

A friend of mine told me the same thing with her son (2 years).
Don't know if there is anything you can do, but buy a new dummy or start weaning her if you want? Love to hear what other moms say...

Hi Everyone

My LG tends to chew constantly on her dummy. This will go on through the night. There are times she will toss and turn and all i can hear in the dark is her chewing on her dummy instead of sucking it. I boiled it down to itching gums and teething, but i don't see any obvious signs of any teeth pushing through.

Any idea why she does this? Does any of your LO's do it?
