Uncircumcised

i was also completely lost after having bardon seeing as i had 2 girls first. so i didnt know what to expect, i am probably one of the luckiest mom's to never have been pee'd on. i dnt do the cover thing and i even undress him on my bed and walk with him naked to the bathroom and he has not wet me so far, touch wood!!!
i phoned dr about a month ago or so to also ask now how do we clean it, cause surely it maust be cleaned properly, well, those who have older boys know, that they play with there winkie by pulling it, i have been worried he is gonna either pull it of or stretch it, cause he is only 9 months old, nearly, and when i take that nappy off he puts his hands there and grabs and pulls, well, that is there way of cleanig it. he said not to do anything to it, wash like the rest of the body. it can happen that at a later stage the skin doesnt pull back, every so often that happens, then they must snip the skin, but thats really a hardly ever happen.
so now i also know to just leave it alone

What's a peepee teepee?

I also wash LO as normal, but BD does most (on weekdays anyway) of the washing but I don't think he washes him any differently.

I have heard of a little contraption you can get for boys called the peepee-teepee. Might invest, hehe. I know my brother managed to get the doctor all the way up his white lab coat.

I chatted to my paed when my LB was born as i was also lost at what to do and he told me that 1. i must never pull it back (which you already know) and 2. not to use any soaps etc to clean it. I must take a warm cloth and wipe it with that. I have not had any problems so far either.

Like the other girls said, just keep it covered especially when changing them. It was funny as soon as the cold wet wipe touched him he would urinate

I also just wash the area, same as I would the rest of the body - later on in life (around 5 or 6 I think) you need to teach them how to ensure decent hygiene, and how to gently pull it back.

I am hoping my hubby will help out with that bit

Bronz, I don't do anything special. Just keep it clean and covered or else you'll get sprayed!
