Troubled sleeper

Good day,

Im a new mommy to this forum.....

I have boy/girl twins that are now just over 1 year old. They were born premature at 32 week via a emergency c-section. Boy was 1.7kg and girl 1.9kg. Boy were in NICU for 5 weeks and girl for 4 weeks.

From day one my boy doens't sleep very well. It actually is getting worse! They will go to sleep at 19:00 and he will sleep until around 22:00 then, the frequent wakening begins. He will easily wake from 3 -7 times a night, sometimes every 45min. We took him to a chiropractor, nothing changed. Tried sleep training, he doesn't stop crying. Keeps getting up if I put him down. Went to bed a bit later, nothing. Now with the winter here, I will get up about 3 - 4 times before I take him with me to our bed, we will then co-sleep but still he toss and turns the whole time.

I really cant handle this any more. I look after them myself during the day and also need to run my own business. Any other mommies out there that can give me any advice?

Could there be something wrong with him or what?
