Hi everyone, this is the very first forum I have ever joined and I have no idea what forum etiquette is, so please guide me if I do something wrong.... I hope I am pressing all the right buttons.
A friend suggested I join the adoption forum for anyone who might have questions about it. My husband and I have recently adopted a beautiful baby girl and we could not be more thrilled. It is so much better than I ever expected and I love being a mom.
My advice... if you want a baby and you are struggling with infertility (like I did), go and speak to an adoption agency and just start the ball rolling, it does not mean you have to go through with it if you are unsure, but just start gathering info. There are so many little people who need mommy and daddy people... they are waiting for all of us who can't have babies to adopt them. I am so happy we did.
