Help- I'm officially a cloth nappy user!!

Amanda, congrats on your little Vica! She is gorgeous!! Just so tiny. I'll pray for the other family and also for you.

Your hubby sounds great!! I'm also blessed with a great one but I doubt he'd use cloth if I wasn't here for a week.

Patty, I'm not going to comment on the AIO nappies as I've never tried them, I'm an Econobum mommy. Love them!!!

2km, one of my Econobum covers has been damaged, I'm not sure how because its only the one so i don't think its something i'm doing wrong. Unless it landed in the tumble drier by accident sometime. The pull at the "flaps" where you pull tight to button is perishing. It looks like it tore where the cover had to stretch. Luckily its not leaking as its on the parts that comes from the back, so it comes over the front where the poppers are. But I just wondered if you have seen it happening to any of yours? Did you ever get the pink trim ones? I still want some but don't really need more, maybe if I have to replace this one I'll get a set...

Your husband is a darling , you are truelly blessed. Men don't usually fancy nappies let alone cloth ones.

I must add, more relevant to our topic, that I bought Cherub Tree Night nappies and they rock! They're nice and soft and super absorbant (all in one).

p.s. if I may ask that you spare a thought for the family of the other baby girl that was in NICU - she passed away this afternoon whilst we were there visiting Vica May the mommy and daddy find peace She was a month younger than Vica.

Hello ladies.

I am currently a Pamper-using Mommy, now higly convinced I want to change to cloth nappies. I initially choose "Disposables" for the convenience as I am a working Mom and was not keen at all to deal with washing nappies. now even my Nanny is against Disposable nappies, and has been pushing me for a while to use cloth nappies (feels the "Paper nappies" are uncomfortable LOL).

Which is the best brand (I know it comes from personal experience and preferrance)?

I would prefer an All-in-one nappy, that has water-proof cover.

How long will the regular "Full-pack" of nappies last, would not want to wash every day.

Just seen on Amanda's FB that Vica has been taken off the Oxygen and is breathing on her own.

I must give a "shout out" to my hubby who despite me being in hospital for over a week continued using cloth I told him he can use disposables but he didn't. I even had to e-mail him instructions via my BB from hospital on how to wash the cloth nappies. Aren't I blessed?

Our baby Vica was born at 28 weeks and she'll be in NICU for a looooong time.
