file I feel like a horrible mother!

15 years 4 months ago #188530 by Paisley
I was one of those mommies that would give birth naturally (which luckilly I could) and would EXCLUSIVELY breastfeed my baby until he was 1 year old... well as we like to say in afrikaans (groen koring) - meaning I should rather not pass judgement as I still have a long way to go.

Fact is - after 3 weeks back to work, and being interrupted NUMEROUS times while i was expressing (i have a office and privicy - so actually very little to complain about), I decided that my baby will now get 3 day formula feeds! Arrggg and i feel terrible for making this decision...like i am choosing my own convenience over my baby's health.

I know i can train my body not to produce milk during the day, but is it viable to expect that I would still be able to breastfeed during daytime when it is weekend?

Please tell me other mothers have felt this way??
