I have no idea, when my husband and I started dating, I was surprised that he thought it was weird. To this day it still freaks him out.

I just love the taste?! I can't explain it. The crunchiness is awesome...filled with tasty bonemarrow.

But thinking back now of all those battery chickens we grew up on...

It must be free range nowadays otherwise I won't touch it.

I have a secret: I love eating chicken bones! Mostly drumstick bones. I have loved it since I can remember.

Hi Yaz,

she has no teeths yet, she is just sucking it and gumming on it if that word is correct. I myself do not "eat" bones i would definetely not give it to an 8 months old

Memo: Woolies, Old Biscuit Mill, Porter Estate Market, Ethical Co-op to name a few.

On a different note: isn't it dangerous to give chicken bones to kids? Don't mean that in any offensive way, but one is not supposed to give cooked chicken bones to dogs because they splinter and are thus a choking risk. So shouldn't the same theory hold for LOs then?
