Hi ladies

huge thank you to you all! I was set on T/tipee and then all of sudden i heard about these complaints but after reading this i will still go with t/t as it is my 1st choice.
Im almost 17wks pregnant with my 1st one so all this stuff is very overwhelming for me.

What other t/tippee products do you use? is a bottle warmer needed? and do any of you have the t/tippe baby monitor?

Thanks

With my son I have kept him on the size 1s cos he complained and had milk everywhere on him when we tried the number 2s... so at 9 months he is happy on the number 1s still.

1st son born 8 april 2009. 2nd son born 10 march 2011. Live in cape town. I got divorced on the 30th of june 2011. Remarried and now happily trying for number 3. www.doulaservices.co.za

We just took the number one teat holes and expanded by poking with a sterilised pin so that it is the same as a number 2 hole.

I also see that there are different size teats.

The number 2's say from 3 months onwards... did u girls ever use number 2's and 3's?

A friend told me that keeping them on a number 1 as long as possible will help with jaw development. However, she does suck a dummy when going to sleep and also she seems to mess less with a number 2 than with a number 1.

I want her to develop her jaw properly, but she seems to drink easier with a number 2 (less spillage from her mouth while feeding)

Great!
Glad you figured it out. They are fantastic bottles if the valve is open properly :)

Yes. It was the valves. I just make sure they open now, before i screw them on.

Thanks Tazz! :cheer:

Claire bear - have you figured it out yet. I've actually gotten into habit of squeezing the valve before I screw on the teat. It must open and close like a fishes mouth when you squeeze the sides.
