Gee, I think I beta ask him to put on Microval then cause I don't think I'm ready to stop breastfeeding and I don't wanna poison her either.

Hi ladies. I've been put on triphasil because my baby will be 6 months next month and he's already on solids. I've haven't started taking it yet. I was considering taking the injection but i'm worried about weight gain. I guess i will go back and ask for more microval. Thanks.

Ladies, I stopped breastfeeding about a month and a half ago. I used to be on the 2month injection at the time but my Dr put me on Marvelon after that. I really hated the injection, I gained like 15 kgs whilst on it and I only used for 6 months.

The problem is that my almost 10 month old Coco is still toothless and it looks like the teeth might cut through this time. So she is a little offish and she demands the breast. So I thot that the milk was gone, and I let her suck. To my horror I then notices some white liquid oozing out.

Is it still possible for me to produce milk afta all this time????

With the mirena / any copper device there is an increased chance of eptopic pregnancies. So if you're planning on having more kids, have a careful think about this.
I've heard from a few people who lost falopian tubes because of eptopics.

I would say mini pill plus condom until you stop breastfeeding if you really dont want to fall pregnant.

Hi MommyN
I am also interested in what ladies say about the Mirena!!!
I also battle with headaches being on the pill but just have to deal with it. I've heard alot of contradicting views about the Mirena, I've heard that alot of ladies battle with weight gain and AF can become irregular but some ladies don't get AF at all - what a bonus! A friend of mine had it inserted and has never looked back!

I was told BF is like 60% protection and only if exclusively breastfeeding - ie NO dummy, NO water bottle, ie baba must not "suck" on anything else - my GP told me this!

Anyway, I fell pregnant when LG was 6 months old and she was exclusively BF and no bottle with water yet. But she did have a dummy!

I am also interested in contraception after our new Baba is born - but the pills give me migraines and mess up my hormones so! Not to talk about the weight issues!

I am thinking of the Mirena? anyone have anything to comment? Sorry to hijack the site...
