BREASTFED BABY WON'T TAKE BOTTLE

Hi,Giggles.Tristen will be 5mnths on the 28th.With his last vacs at 20wks he weighed 6.9kgs.Havent checked lately.I only really tried the bottle these last 3wks as I'm going back 2 work on Monday.B4 then I didnt really make giving him a bottle an issue.I just bf.Its so true just enjoy ur mat leave with lg it'll be over b4 u know it.

Giggles my son is now 6mnths and i am back at work 2 mnths already.

i am having the same problem but is not stressing about the issue anymore.
If you look at previous threads i has the same problem and now i have all the different teats,bottles ,formula at home and baby is still refusing the bottle.

he only drinks 50-100ml during the day and from a cup. I get home at 6pm and then he start playing catchup every hour. He will have 3-4 night feeds 5-10min night feeds.

Now i am very tired but no complains because he is not getting the amount of fluids during the day. I intro solids and that is also on a slow basis.

he weighs 8,4 now and is a very happy baby without the bottle during the day. Nanny will give the bottle but if he cry,she will stop and give milk from the cup.

So try to relax and enjoy your maternity leave with baby

My little one also does that pulling back motion with my nipple in her mouth, its eina. I wonder why they do that???

By the way how many months is Tristan n what's his weight. My girl is 3mnths & weighs 4.6kg.

Tristen seems 2 have taken to his bottle,he holds it with both hands and sucks on the teat after emptying the bottle.But recently while bf he pushes his hand against me and at the same time pulls his head back WITH my nipple in his mouth.as if its a wine gum!Its so sore...Giggles,he was also vol fiemies,he would take it 2day and not the next.Keep on giving lo the bottle,she has taken it she probably just has 2 get used 2 it.

I bought the Tomme Tippee and she won,t take that either, but she is taking the TT dummy.

Tristen is full of tricks.He didnt want the bottle on Tuesday.I tried again on Wednesday but he cried every time,then early that evening he took it.He drank the milk as if was being forced down his throat-he was pulling faces and some of the milk was running down the sides of his mouth.I'm going 2 buy a feeding cup just in case.I dont think changing teats will help.Its so funny-he loves his dummy and takes to any type but hates the teats.
