Anyone know Dr Daniel Truter from Hermanus???

Although I cannot really comment as I have only had one experience with Dr. Truter so far - my scan in June to confirm I had a miscarraige, I can say that he did make me feel very at ease. Bearing in mind that this was my first visit ever to a gynae (previously only had a papsmear done in normal doc's room) and I'm very self consious.

My first scan for current pregnancy is next week Tuesday - again with dr. Truter, whereafter he will be going away and not sure if I'll continue going to Hermanus or Somerset-West then.
Will let you know about my experience with him once again. The doctor's in my area do speak very well of him

This will be my second baby and I am hoping for natural again. My first natural delivery with Dr P was fantastic!!

He did speak very highly of Dr Truter and said he is definitely pro natural etc. So all we can do is hope for the best! I am meeting him in December.

Yes i am soooo soooo sad that Potgieter is finsihing off. I am still hoping there is some miracle that he can deliver my baby - Due early March.

I am planning on a VBAC and he is soooo supportive i know that he will give me the best chance to have one. He has assured me that Daniel is also pro natural as him and if there is anyone that can fill his shoes or even better its Daniel but i just feel that i built this relationship with Potgieter and all.

But im praying that everything works out for the best, just have to out my trust in God.

I'm so happy to see that you have posted this question as I am also dying to hear from someone that has been with Dr Daniel Truter before. I am also with Dr Potgieter but seeing as he is leaving, I will be having Dr Daniel Truter deliver my baby in Jan.
