Morning Ladies. This is my first time here.

I have done one IVF/ICSI in April 2013 - unfortunately it was unsuccessful. I was on Gonal F and Cetrotide injections and did not experience any side effects. My stomach just looked like a dart board

Hoping to try again soon. Hopefully 2nd time it takes.

Hi Ladies, quick question: on what day did you go for egg retrieval?

My friend went on CD14, but the next morning the eggs didn't fertilised and it turned out they weren't mature yet - retrieved too early. The fs told her she is one of those women who ovulates late. So this month they will be retrieving later in the cycle.

But how does this happen? I also ovulate late - normally around CD17. I'm so worried that this will happen to me too.

My 1st ICSI, I was on Menopur and the 2nd, Pergoveras. Both had the same effect.
Also bear in mind that I had 2 cycles of iui before then with no break in between except with the 2nd icsi where i took a month off. So i've been thru the mill.

I don't think there's anything to worry about. You are only on your 2nd day of stims. Still very early days

Waiting for you, where you also on Gonal-F? Like I said I have NO side effects not hormal or blaoted, should I be worried?

I was totally hormonal, pms amplified lol! Hubby bared the brand of it all shame. Also I was very bloated and abdomen felt hard and full. I only expected 7 days of the horrendous injections and it turned out to be 10 days as a result of lining issues.
I never got used to the follicle stimulating injections, it always burned going in.

But it is all short lived, hang in there.

So I had my second round of Gonal-F injections this morning. It went well just burned quiet a bit this morning but only for a short while then it was over. 2 days down 3 to go
I have not had ANY side effects from the meds did any of you experiance anything? Should I expect bloating, sore boobs/ovaries anything like that? sort of wish there was some thing so that I knew it was working

I am officially doingmy first IVF/ICSI

I started AF on Friday so saw dokter on CD 1 and started with my 150ml Gonal-F injections this morning. All went fine and hubby was a champ at doing the injections. We do not live in SA so I am taking my meds at home and beeing monitored by my gyni. I see him again on thursday CD7 ( he wanted it to be CD 8 but we asked if we can make is a day early with the driving and everything ) and then right after appoinment I leave for CT. We will only know on thursday when we see the FS in Cape Town
