Hi ladies,

As per clinics request I had to do a hpt, in order to take meds to bring on AF so as to continue with the other meds and injections etc for the FET in Jan. So I bought the Clicks brand and tested at 2pm yesterday at work, it was negative. I had like a 0.01% hope so I was slightly disappointed, but for me disappointment is the norm, so I got over it. Then at 8.30pm I decided to look again before throwing out the test and box as I was at home and could dispose, and I saw a vvvvfaint line. I'm on CD38. I'm gonna test again Monday morning and tell DH coz he doesn't know I tested alone and he doesn't know about this test taken yesterday (don't want to give him false hope) I really don't know what to think especially since it's so many days late AF, but I've been reading about evap lines. Except for x 2 failed IUI's with ovidrel, where I tested 4 days before my period was due with the Clicks brand, initially negative then a few hours later see a vvvfaint line which ended up being the trigger, then a day before my period was due there was no second line even hours later so that was certain. I've never EVER seen a second line especially days after period was due, then again I've never been late on my AF. The trigger from ivf is long out of my system, so I'm so highly confused.

Exactly! Too many negative tests! Absolutely nothing. Every days feel like my period is about show but another day and still nothing. It's absolutely frustrating! All I have is the dull cramping and no CM. Please keep me posted on you end Liza and i will do same as soon as AF shows

@ ladysa i understand completely. I'm also just going to wait for AF to arrive. No testing, I've really seen enough 1 line tests in my lifetime!

Looks like our FET will only be mid next year. There's just a lot that needs to be paid before we start the next cycle.

Do you feel any different? Any pregnancy symptoms?

Hey Liza, I also read that it can be delayed, I don't understand why though because on my failed cycle it came the day after CD28. The clinic never mentioned anything about a delay when they gave me the meds etc. and when I called yesterday they said it can be delayed and to take a pregnancy test by next week if it does not show.

I haven't taken a pregnancy test coz through the past going on 2.5yrs of TTC the hardest was seeing the 1 line only, I choose to wait for my period. And testing to see a negative will just irritate me further because I need to start the birth control pills and injections and other pills in order to do the FET 2nd week in January, which looks unlikely though because my period is delayed by 6days today and who knows how much longer! I actually want my period to start so we can get going already! Urrrrrgggghhhhh!!

@ Ladysa i'm due for my 2nd period on Monday. I'll let you know what happens. I have actually read on Google that it can sometimes be delayed. Not sure why as i would think that the meds would me out of our systems by then.

Do you have a date for you FET?

Hi ladies. Hope you are all well wanted to find out if any was delayed with their 2nd period after the failed IVF? I'm on CD31 today and still nothing? I have a 28 day spot on cycle, even with the failed IVF came on time except now. Next step after my appointment on the 30/11 was some birth control meds, bunch of other tablets, injections to stop a natural cycle in order to transfer the remaining 2. All seems very daunting but that can only happen next year. Time is not on my side

Stay well and hoping you guys can shed light on when your AF started if delayed. Ps, not bothering with a test, too heartbreaking to see the 1 line only but just wanted to know how long for it to start?
