Hey Leez,

How exciting that you have started! I am due to start on the 26th and the wait is torture!! I was actually just researching excercise as I haven't been doing any for the last few months. I think if you stick to low intensity like walking, etc you should be fine. Also don't let your heart rate get too high and not hot saunas. I have started using my in door rowing machine and will alternate between that and just taking a slow walk. Excercise keeps you positive and gets the blood going so I am keen on keeping up something simple :) I have also cut my caffeine intake right down and increased my water. I'm really nervous for the weight gain during the actual cycle.

My cycle looks like this (who knows if it will actually stay that way!):

Day2/3: Scan and start stims
Day 8: Scan
Day 10: Scan
Day 12: Scan
Day14/15: Egg retrieval
Transfer either day 3 or day 5 after retrieval

Please keep us updated!!

Lots of love xx

Afternoon all, I'm new to the site and the forum but looking for a little support and guidance.

My hubby and I have just started an IVF treatment for the very 1st time. After about 2 years of trying, testing etc, we've finally decided to give it a go. My ovulation is 100% and at the moment, Prof can't find anything wrong on my end. The big issue appears to be with my hubby who has a very low normality rate of around 5%.

I started my 1st injection of Lupron this morning and due to begin a week of Menopur on Wednesday.

Any advice or do's and don't s during the process? I've read weird things about exercise affecting you negatively and what you eat etc and really wondering what I can and can't do over the next few weeks!

I'm also interested about what a usual timeline would look like as all we know so far, is that I have to be back on the 12th for another scan.

Anybody who has gone through this with any suggestions or tips please reply!

Thanks
Lee
