Hi ladies,

So I have decided to start potty training next month, June.

Why does Yaqeen insist on whining and moaning for everything, instead of just asking me properly so I can hear he will whine for it, drives me MAD.

Tess - your little boy is cutie pie. Wow. Ag don't worry about the backround. Look good. When are you due?

BTW - where is Mum2H?

Yaqeen decided to lock himself in the room. Can you believe it??? Wow, I panicked a bit hey. I even considered breaking the window to get him out. Instead I phoned my husband and he told me to unscrew the doorhandle and try turn the key. Walla...it opened. Shame, Yaqeen didn't even cry. I could hear the panick in his voice just saying "mommy open" to which I said "yes boy, mommy's going to open" very calmly but I must admit I wasn't calm. Just kept thinking get my child out. WOW, what a day. He had been nagging and whining and crying since he woke up. Driving me crazy and now finally having a nap which is very unusual.

Betty - Pediasure is a supplement shake. It's mostly for picky eaters or when LO is not well and not eating. And it can be used for kids up to 10 years. So if Aran has one helping of that, I can rest easy that he is at least getting some nutrients into that skinny body!
Of course, now we know that at least part of the eating problem is to do with the whole enlarged adenoids story, so am hoping that things will improve after the surgery!

I just realised what a mess my study looks int he background of the picture!! Og well, you guys know how it is …..

Hi Ladies

All well this side - they have decided to stop M's potty training at the creche for a wile - its getting too cold here in CT and also he has not made one wee wee in the pot at school yet.

Strange thing is that at home he goes just about every time I put him on the pot. Anyhow perhaps he just is not ready yet.

M is starting to get used to the cows milk - still put one scoop of the formula in the bottle.

Tess what is pediasure? Love the pic of A - he is such a cutie.

So nice that A will have a little brother to play with soonx

Hello ladies!
The pregnancy is going well - I feel a bit large and cumbersome, but at 24 weeks, that's part of the deal, i guess :) We found out last week that it is another boy. I don't mind telling you I was seriously disappointed, but am dealing with it. i told Dh that if he makes LOTS of $$ in the next 2 years, we can try again (he also wanted a girl).

Aran is still in his cot, quite happy there, so I will leave it for now. He did nap in the toddler bed at my parents' place on Wednesday so I think he might adapt well. Just that he's still in a sleeping bag, so getting out of the bed and trying to walk will be funny! ;)

Napping seems to be back to normal - he seems realy tired when he gets back from school. But the EATING story. I swear he would be so happy if I NEVER offered him anything to eat for the rest of the afternoon. Has hot choc, pronutro in the morning @home, then snack and lunch at school, some cheese and yoghurt when he gets home (maybe), 50ml milk+ 100ml water mix before nap, and then when he gets up, it's a complete disaster if he'll eat a thing! I've almost given up. So am sticking with a bottle of Pediasure before bed, just so my nerves can handle it. :S

I wouldn't have started the potty training if the nursery didn't start. But anyhow M seems to be enjoying it nonetheless.

I have taken the one side of M's cot off - to try to get him used to the idea of sleeping in a big bed. the first night was no problem. But the second night he fell out the cot 2ce. Anyway I have now put the side back up but it stands on the floor so its not as high as the cot side used to be. Last night was better no problems so lets see how it goes.

Guess that means I am going to have to buy a safety rail for the bed.

Great to hear from you Shakira, M is still sleeping during the day, from 12 till 2pm. He has started going to bed later at night now 8/8.30 instead of the 7/7.30 but he is still waking up at 6am - a real killer on the weekends!

Tess how is the pregnancy going? Did you find out if its a boy or a girl? My sister in law is 12 weeks preggers with her 2nd - found out yesterday at the fetal assesment clinic that its a boy.

Hi ladies,

I still haven't started potty training yet. Just haven't got the patience yet. Yaqeen is really keeping me on my toes. Seriously. He doesn't nap during the day but sleep for about 10-12 hours at night.
