Cakes, I used Dr Brown's with my LG. Although she did not swallow air the bottles is a REAL hassle. Different components to wash and they leak. Already bought Tommee Tippee for this one. It is also a lot cheaper than the Dr Brown's.

Welcome back Maureen - Glad you enjoyed your holiday! Did your friends win the lottery? ;)

My left arm went dead this morning. Needles and pins for a while. My legs also itches, but I think it is more because of change of season and therefor your skin is drier and then itches. I also have restless leg syndrome.

Didn't do much at work today, will work hard tomorrow. Eating curry mince and rice for dinner. Can't wait. Will put my gaviscon next to me. :)

Anybody going for ultrasounds soon? Who hasn't found out the sex of their babies yet? Count me in with that group.

Welcome back Maureen and congrats on the LB. I know my Hips go numb when I sleep on my side. Maybe you must just ask your doctor, I’m always rather safe than sorry.

Cakes, I used the Tommee Tippee with my LG and I’m going to use it again with this one. For me it works perfectly. In the beginning I used Nuk for my LG, but it was almost as if she swallowed air with it, and she struggled with Colic, then I started to use the TT and it stopped. But I think there will be people that will differ with me, so I think like nappies, at the end it is a personal choice. But if you want to know about quality etc, I think it compare very good with brands like Nuk, Avent etc. I only use the bottles, and there drinking mugs, not the dummies, so I cannot comment on that.
Hope it helps.

Cakes - we went for pleasure. We planned and paid well before we even thought of getting pregnant again. And it was so worth it!
I have a friend using tommee tippee and breastfeeding and she loves it. I am acutally also going to use them as I am also going to breast feed. I used Nuk with my first son, and was dissapointed with them.

Hello Ladies,

So we have been back from Thailand since the 12th. It has just been a very hectic two weeks.

Thailand was fantastic. We had a great time. Jamie has discovered his cousins, he loves them to bits, and couldn't understand why Juan wasn't on the same plane with us. My brother and Juan went back to Melbourne and I am still recovering, I am emotional about it. Jamie also discovered his love for water over the holidays, only because it was so hot. I almost died of heat! Don't know what I am going to do over Christmas in Durban!

Work is hectic, and I am not in the mood for this needless to say not in the mood for the people here. Have decided that while I am on maternity leave I will be looking for a new job. If you know of anything for a Project Accountant, keep me in mind, please.

DH is picking up with his business. Can't wait for him to start contributing to the household! I am struggling to keep us a float at this stage. But in saying that at least we are staying a float. We are better off than most other people to. I am so upset, friends of ours that have been living in our house for almost 2 years, who could not pay rent, all of a sudden they got a 100% home loan and bought a new car.....what is up with that?!

Ladies I read through all of the posts but have hit a blank!

As for the Pretoria meet, I think it is a good idea, here are some dates:
8 October
15 October
29 October

I don't have dates open for November as we are busy as well as December as both Dh and I have our Birthdays.

We are also having a babyshower for number 2, who turns out to be another little boy. Was very emotional on Monday at my 20 week and 3 days fetal assessment! I am doing the babyshower myself and inviting the husbands as well. Little boy is 22 cm and 400grams already.

We are busy sorting out Jamie's new room. And am hoping to move him to his bed by next weekend. I really hope it goes well. I know he is only 17 months but am sure he will adjust!

Missed you all alot.

Quick question, some nights it feels like my legs go numb and then they start to hurt, it doesn't last long, what is it? Should I be worried!

Shame Zel, something like that would scare me to. I mean, that guy have no right taking photo’s of your boys. I know a few years back a little girl disappeared in that same Woolworths. The Mom immediately went to the security guy to close all the doors, and they started to look for the LG. They finally found her in the dressing rooms, her hair cut short like a boys and she was dressed in boys clothing.

Lolliepop, I do not have the “itchy’ leg problem, but I do struggle with “busy bone syndrome” at night and then I struggle to sleep.
