Sharon you can be very happy with the ‘big’ gifts. Luckily I didn’t get any baby powder this time.

Heather, I’m also using the fragrance free stuff on Emma. She is the same as me, we don’t like stuff with a smell. And Elizabeth Anne got a very sweet smell. Well, I must say, I was a lot fatter with Emma, but I did pick up the 14kg again that I lost before I got pregnant. But at least this time I look pregnant and not just fat.

Hi ladies

Just a quick update on gynae visit:

He is doing well. WEighing just over 2kgs so nice and big!! My placenta is still covering my cervix....but 'luckily' its lying at the back and not front as when they cut if in front can be another risk/problem.

Placenta looking good, fluid good, baby breech...he hurts me on botton left alot...oi! But I'm happy he is doing so well;) Excited to meet him now!

Carlene I was very happy with Addison people honestly bought everything we needed...buckets, bath, bottles, nappies, wipes, medicines, blankets (cellular, polar fleece, receiving), towels, etc. THey really didnt give in too much to the cute factor....some of my friends were very generous and easily spent R500-R600 each (which to me was alot of money when i try and spend R200-R250 on gift for shower...lol),....and I still got a fair amount of clothes. I also had 4 baby showers....so I guess between the 4 they really sorted everything! All Dh and I bought literally was a wardrobe and the pram...we even got a camp cot as a gift:)

Baby powder though??? Goeie genade! 3yrs later....i am still using baby powder from Addison's shower..and i returned about 11 big powders...lol.

Amanda hope you're doing okay...as well as you can under the circumstances.

ZelF...I hope you're resting and by tomorrow you feel better.

Aw Amanda so sorry to hear this. I will be praying that your little girl comes into this world a strong little fighter and be home sooner than 8 weeks.

As for baby products, i got all the stuff from my previous baby shower as Zelmari had bad eczema from birth. So had to buy all the fragrance free creams and this and that.
Still wonder if i will have a baby shower this time around

Amanda I pray that you and LO will pull through and the Lords hands will be cradling ur baby in nicu

Amanda no!! Luckily you are 28weeks. So your baba should be fine! God will be watching over you! Just so TINY. Thinking of you! I will be going to CApe Gate as well. Who is your dr there? There is no Amanda Schade Huysamen on FB. Or my BB is just wacked!

Carlene gorgeous pics! I also prefer certain baby products. Like the lavender Johnsons baby bath. And creams only aquas cream. I do not use bumcream at all. The vaseline and powder worked for me and I never had nappy rash. Just once when ruan had gastro hehe

Geeze I don't think I need a baby shower. Still have sooo much of ruans stuff. Maybe they could buy nappies!

Zelf - I also dont mind which baby products i use all of them. Just found that fissan paste works better that bennets for Z. But when it comes to shampoo and cream i dont have prefrence.

Amanda, I so hoped you still have fluid left! Thinking of you, hope you stay calm! Spoke to paed yesterday, and she says the steriod injections really works and helps for the prem babies! Does your LG have a name yet?

I must say, I was very happy with what we got previously for the boys and so far for Millay. Luckily I don't care which bath products, I use Aquas cream in any ways for the first 6 weeks, and then I alternate with what I have. Clothes I were happy with as well. Only thing I don't use is powder as well Ashleigh.

In bed today, just not feeling well. Both boys has Bronchitis, and Janu has Kroep as well. Luckliy they're not too sick, just coughing up a storm.
