Jan/Feb/Mrch 2012 Momies to Be

Just had to share this. I couldn't decide how to spell my babbas name. Janru or Janroux. I never realised how important a name is. So I asked my dad to do a name analysis for me. He's been doing numerology for years, but got his license this year. Anyhoo! So I asked him to do it for me and after reading the analysis DH and I decided on Janroux. So interesting!! He did my name aswel and everything is so acurate. You know the type of person I am?? And I get special rates because I am family

Anyways so it is Janroux now. Still sounds the same, but it is totally different.

If I don't eat something now I am going to pass out!

Hi ladies!!!!

Sorry - I have been MIA. This week has been madness!

You ladies have been chatting up a storm.

So I went for my 28 weeks scan on Tuesday - girls are doing unbelievably well and are 1.3kg and 1.4kg. Also had my steroid injections in the bum (OUCH!) for the "just-in-case" precaution of them arriving early. One just never knows with twins. One minute perfect, the next, unpredictable. My gynae proceeds to tell me that she delivered twins at mignight the evening before I saw her and that lady just came in for her 34 week checkup the day before. Everything was fine but that night she started bleeding, placenta ruptured and so they had to take babas out! I'm like- Oi, I hope that doesn't happen to me!!!!!! Pretty please!! Scary thing is - anything can happen. She also took my bloods and checked my iron count. All great including blood pressure so no signs of pre-term anything. Says there is loads of fluid for babies and placentas look good. So all in all I have 1.3kg + 1.4kg = 2.7kg of baby + 2 placentas + amniotic fluid which takes me to the size of a full-term singleton pregnancy right now! I am even getting new stretch marks as I think that my body is going to expand at a rapid rate from hereon out.

Gosh - hope Amanda and baby is ok - that was so scary.
Simone - glad Addision enjoyed her party and she is getting much better.
Zelf - such cute pics of your boys!

Also booked my bed (EEEEKKKKK) and now can get my Discovery baby bag etc. Everything seems to becoming more real.

P.S. Here is a pic of my bump i took on Wed night - where is the next 2 month's growth going to go???? I even started feeling Braxton Hicks everyday this week! My sister says I look like I can go "BA!" (bursting) anytime now - LOL. I swear I have to deal with stranger comments every single day and I still have 2 months to go - Oi.

Anyways - have a good weekend ladies. I have Eid on Sunday so its gonna be more food and celebration!

Shame Carolsch, I hear everyone complaining about the Cape Town weather. I must say we have nice weather here in Pretoria. So for once I am grateful we're staying here. (Most of the times I envy you guys though ). Enjoy the braai this weekend!

There is not much update on FB from Amanda, she just posted 2 pics yesterday evening of Vica at 1 day old. She is soooooooo small!

We are going to a kiddies party tomorrow morning, then we are meeting the engineers at our new house. Because the bank lost all the papers, we have to get various papers now from various professionals, just going to cost us money . But I suppose if we want the house to transfer in our name, we must do it! Luckily nothing planned for the rest of the weekend!

We have 2 kiddies parties - I enjoy them as its ones where i know lots of the moms and it makes Cameron soooo tired that he usually sleeps well after.

My ring is getting tight but luckily it was a little big so its still fitting, Im 31 weeks today! whoohoo!

ZelF I got a sad bag from hospital last time. A little book and maybe a nappy sample and some lotion samples?? Those in the sachets, not even little bottles! lol. I also know a girl in our church was born with club feet...and now she is about 5 or 6....years already her feet are fine. So all good stories you are hearing;)

CC agreed re: weightloss...really doesnt affect the baby. I lost about 6kgs initially. My weight gain now is 1.4kgs (Due to really BAD eating this week...gonna try and correct it next week!) @ 32 weeks and my baby is big and healthy;)

Juandre and Mandy with being pregnant with Addison i was permanently frisky...now I find with a boy I'm not as frisky. I love it when we do have sex...but i wont initiate it. First trimester was different story though...lol. Enjoy it on your side though ladies:)

Vision Addison is MUCH better thanks for asking. Taking her meds well and seems fully recovered. Though madam tells lies and says: Oh mummy I am sick again. I vomited on the table from the chicken.

SO frantically i call the nanny and she laughs saying Addison never vomited...didnt even eat chicken for lunch.lol.

I finish at 12 today. Meeting a freind for lunch then hubby booked wash, cut and blow for me at hair salon. Tomorrow morning we go for breakfast at Vovo Telo's (YUMMMM), then hubby booked morning at spa for me...facial, pedi, mani, waxing, etc. Then its my baby shower....so exciting weekend ahead!

And I know he has plans for our anniversary next weekend and we have to take Addison to kiddies party...so no idea when I am having a restful weekend at this point!

I havent gotten round to adding AManda yet and I'm sure she doesnt have time to accept friend requests at this point...anybody have an update on how her lg is doing?

I am also glad its weekend! One of my husbands long lost friends are bringing the wife and kids over for a braai. Looking forward to meeting them! And I'd have some girl chat. None of our friends have children so OBViOusly they stay away! Then Sunday we might just take Ruan out to BUGS playpark.

Does anyone know how Amanda and LO are doing? I invited her as a friend aswell, but she did not accept me yet.
