AFM - quiet weekend spent with friends and family... Prepared everything for my 3year old's party on Sat... Its her birthday tomorrow... Cant believe that i am the mother of a 3year old already!! Time sure does fly!

Went and got a tattoo this weekend - its an Ambigram of the girl's names... So if you look at from the front it reads one name, and if you look at from the back it reads another name...

How are you all doing?
The baptism invites are looking gorgeous. And I love the cake Anthea.

I made Anja's cake myself as that is the business I had in Cape Town, Making wedding and birthday cakes.

Anthea, that price is really good for the cake.

Here is a couple of pictures of what Anja's cake looked like.
One is the cake like we set it up at church and the other pic is a close up of the cakes.

We also having bout that amount of people but i was thinking of getting snack platters, and then the cake... Will still decide... Also thought of soup and homemade bread as it will be in the heart of winter...

I am wearing a suit i think - safest in this weather...

I got the cutest headband and shoes for the baptism off a page on FB... But first we have Tristyn's 3rd birthday party on the 6th

@Anthea - would you mind emailing me the pic of your cake PLEASE? I want to send it to them to show them what I like (I LOVE YOURS) if you dont mind of course?
They sent me a sample pic and it doesnt look half as nice as yours!

It will be lunch time so we are doing prego rolls and then the cake... there 30 people coming so the cake is perfect.

Thanks for the tips about the outfit, I will go look @ babycity. Earthchild are having a sale too and I just love their clothes - expensive but the quality is amazing. Wish it was summer so I could wear a nice dress...

AWESOME TAZZY!! So gald they could help you! There cakes are massive hey - A3 and thick, can feed about 30 people... You wont regret it! Keep them in mind for all birthdays etc - they really are reasonably priced!

I Love love love the invite - great minds think alike hey...

We have a baptism gown that all the grandkids wear - so Morgan's turn is next... Then we stitch the date and church on the inside of the gown... Also have baptism candles - have theirs engraved in gold with their names and date... Baby City has cute boy outfits too for baptisms...

Are you gonna do a full lunch or platters on the day?

@Cherikey - such a big boy hey! And in his own room! Lucky you down at the coast, we have to wait till after the winter to move her... dont feel comfy with her alone in a room while its so cold... Morgan's the same with the dummy - its really a lifesaver hey! She has learnt to self soothe so well on her own. Perhaps he will move straight to a cup, but that wont help you with the soothing unfortunately. All the best with that hey!

@ Anthea - you are an absolute life saver!! I love your cake and I called them and they can help me @ such short notice! Yay - they also so reasonable!! I got 2 quotes and they were R800 a cake, your place said about R300!! I love the photo cakes rather than the marzipan cake!! Thank you!

Im so relieved what you say about the sleeping, cause he is an angel at night, I put him in his cot awake and @Cherikey he hums himself to sleep with his dummy and doo doo blanky on his face! In the day he has to be rocked and he screams until he falls asleep and then if u put him down too soon he wakes up - little rascal! He also needs to sleep after 90min otherwise starts crying!

@Cherikey - is Colby sitting? he is so sweet! Cant believe he still wont take a bottle or dummy? Maybe he will go straight to a sippy cup. Such a big boy in his own room now..
