Hows it going?

Thought i'd pop in & say hi...

My big boy is 8 months old today. Can't believe it already. All is well though. he sits nicely, eats everything you put in front of him, poops nicely, 90% of the time sleeps well & through. We also now have 2 little teeth that have popped through. Not sure of weight, will check on Friday or early next week.

Colby is adorable hey... Its amazing how the smallest thing can amuse them!

Doc’s happy with the increase in Morgan’s Neutrophil count – if we look from where we started there is a remarkable increase already, and although it is low, it has now moved within the normal range. She said isn’t increasing as fast as we may hope but she is happy that it increasing! It started at 0.15 when we were in hospital, then 0.62, then 0.8 and now 1.43 – the normal is 1-8… She feels the course of action is to wait now, and only test again if and when she does get sick…

So we can breathe a sigh of relief! Thank you for all your prayers!

Guess time just flies by around here...

We had another event this past weekend, so i've been super busy!

Nice to hear from you Jay! So so sorry that you have been having such a rough time with your MIL, it cant be easy for you guys hey! Strongs to you during this difficult time!

How are all the other ladies doing?

AFM - we could finally take Morgan for bloodtests. This means that she had been off medication and not sick for 4weeks. Who would have thought i would be happy to take my baby for blood tests... So anyway the results came back and the neutrophil compnonent of the white blood cells is still barely within normal range... Have to see paed soon to discuss the way forward for my poor baby! Had really hoped that the count had increased Please keep my little girl in your prayers... If this doenst increase she'll need a bone marow transplant one day...

Other than that she is such a happy baby - always smiling. Took her for a weigh in and is a healthy 7.4kgs... she babbles constantly and loves her big sister. The solids are going well and she loves her bananas... Here's some pics of her...

Hey Ladies

Wow, so much has happened since I was here last! Gosh, all of the cuties have grown so fast! Sorry for not being able to post...things have just gotten so hectic since I got back to work. Firstly, my MIL was admitted to hospital for over 2 weeks, heart failure, kidney Failure and she has some water on the lungs. It seemed like the end of the road and because we moved out of our rented home to go live with her to look after her, it was our duty to visit her everyday to make sure she's ok while there. In between the trips to the hospital, was the normal cooking and cleaning and work and kids homework...mad house I tell ya!
Since she got home (yes, she's much better but still sick) I have to make sure she takes her meds, eat properly and all that...I am currently looking to find someone to help me during the week with her and whatever I'm supposed to do cos I simply can't cope with everything.

Jody have been doing great...only have had a fever here and there but a little Calpol brings it down quick quick. No teeth yet but the itching gums are making him restless some nights. He have since started eating and he hates the store bought foods so he eats only veg cooked by myself. He simply loves butternut...and always cries for more, lol.

I am really gonna try and be more active...I really miss it
