So you know my pain hahaha!
We have ordered her a big bed so hoping it will help the transition out of our bed!
Her health has improved tremendously. Her white blood cells count is still low, but within normal range - for which we are so so very thankful!
The physical development gap has subsided too... she is almost on par with her peers... which Doc said would happen and be almost gone by age 2.
We have now picked up on a language development problem... she doesnt communicate as an almost 2 year old should. We start speech therapy sessions in October in the hopes that it will only take this one 12week session to bring her on par with her peers... we unfortunately dont know what the long-term implications are... if she will forever be the slower developer...
She is however our little miracle baby (she mos almost died at 6 weeks of age) and we are forever grateful for everyday of her life!
AWWWW Sma - they too look very alike hey! So cute man!
Hubby too is very hands on... the only thing he cant do is breatfeed hehehe! And we have an awesome nanny... but the financial implications of it all hold us back... We just dont know what other developmental problems that illness caused and what other therapy she may need in the future... and we want to be able to give it her. Private schooling is ridiculous in Gauteng...
On the plus side - we off to Cape Town tomorrow for a short holiday! YAY!!! Cant wait - Morgan's first flight... hope she handles it ok.
