Anthea,
This is our first.
We had a hard time falling pregnant. I have PCOS. I knew before we even got married, so we didn't really wait to start trying. After two years we finally fell pregnant on Femara fertility medication. So thankful for our precious little gift from God! Can't wait to meet him or her!

Hi there ladies

@snoekie: so relieved that its nothing serious!! I know exactly the shock you get when you see this blood where there shouldnt be blood! No mother should ever have to g through that. And its worrisome that in both our cases they cant pinpoint the cause of it - i mean how does one prevent it from happening again! And we didnt even have sex - that was the first thing doc asked us

Just rest up and take it easy hey.

@tanz: congrats on the new house!! How awesome it will be to raise your kids there! I agree with the ladies, get all the help you can hey! Dont overdo it pls? Eazi-move move everything, the only thing is that you have to pack up your current house yourself, and if you marknit clearly they put it in the correct room for you to then unpack...

@kelz thanks for that tip, also on antibiotics now... And sent hubby to get the cranberry juice! Will make sure its my drink of choice all through this pregnancy...

Have a great scan, and cant wait to see pics!!!

Out of interest : what are your ladies ages? I am 30 years old, second pregnancy, first one at 27, and i must say i am taking SO much more strain this time around! Whatever can go wrong, has gone wrong! Is it because i am older this time around?

Have a great day all!

Good Morning all

Scan day!!! :silly: cant wait to see this busy little man again!

Anthea: I am soo glad that your are now home and hope that everything now goes much better - I dont think anything prepares a mother for "problems" during pregnancy, but I am so happy that Morgan is fine.
I also ended up in hospital a little while back and one of the problems was a urinery tract infection. I also had anti-biotics but my doc advised me to drink plenty of cranberry juice or to take the cranberry tablets which can be found in any pharmacy - aparently cranberry has lots of natural anti-biotics and vitamins which help to "clear out" your urine. Also it is aparently very common for pregnant women to get this...Hope that helps a bit?

Thanks Tanz and CONGRATULATIONS!! a lot of hard work, but it will all be worth it in the end...to have a house for your beautiful children to grow up in..amazing!

Hope everyone else has a great day. Will post pics tomorrow

Morning Ladies,
Anthea,
I am really happy to hear that you are back home. Take it easy, and get a lot of rest!

Tracyo,
Glad to hear about your exams as well!

Sorry to hear that so many of you are uncomfortable. I cumfy levels have also been decreasing drasticly.

AFM, Got a huge fright yesterday.
Woke up eith light bleeding yesterday morning at 5 am. Hubby took me to hospital. They were amazing. So reassuring and helpful. The emediately connected me to a fetal monitor to pick up the heartbeat, which was good and strong. they also couldn't pick up any contractions. They kept me on the monitor for about 45min. then my Gyni came in and did a sonar to make sure that he can't see anything wrong with the plasenta and baba. He said it is probbably just the Cervix that was aggitated. So he sent me home and told me to just take it easy from now on. No more laundry and building cots and things like that.
I am a very emosional person, so I cried myself into a state yesterday.
Feeling a lot better today.

Hope you ladies have a great day!!!
