Hi ladies,

How is everyone doing? Sorry, I have been really busy at work these last few days! Month-end.....

I had my doc appointment last Tuesday. All is well with my baby boy :-)
He is looking healthy. My due date is 16 Feb.

Question: Does anyone have dizzy spells? I get them some mornings and I need to sit down for a few minutes.

Have a good evening....

welcome Cammy :) this is my 2nd time going through this, and a much more pleasant time than the first.

My next scan is also on the 24th. hoping that your little one is not coy and shows you what he/she is.

havent been hit by dreaded heartburn yet, fingers crossed it stays away this pregnancy.

how are all you lovely moomies :)

Thanks Haidee. My next scan is on the 24th October... so hopefully baby is in a better position.

I'm feeling nudges and flutters, but my husband can't yet. Although every time he tries to feel something the baby stops moving! The other day I was just minding my own business and out of nowhere came this big kick! I haven't felt anything like that since, it just little kicks now.

Last week we started spring cleaning the spare room to get it ready for the new arrival. So progress is being made!! Exciting stuff :)

Congratulations Cammy!!! This is my 3rd time round. ....not nervous any more, just excited. Both my previous pregnancies and births went really well.

My dates go between 18-25 Feb, so at the moment I'm somewhere between 19-20 weeks. This little boy is kicking the living daylights out of me!! You feeling anything yet??

Will hold thumbs that you'll see the gender at the next scan, it makes life so much easier if you know. But as you said, as long as everything is healthy and fine, nothing else matters.

Heartburn gets to me too these days...and unfortunately it only gets worse as baby grows.

Good luck and enjoy!!!

Hello all. I'm new to this site, but am so glad I found others that are going through what I am. From the few posts I've read it seems like you have all been through this before! This is my first time and I'm super nervous and excited.
I'm 20 weeks at the moment and my due date keeps changing... It's always between the 16 & 21st Feb. We were hoping to find out the gender at our last ultra sound but baby wasn't willing to show us anything :( . As long as he/she is healthy though I really don't mind!!
I had mild morning sickness in the beginning but luckily that's stopped. Although it has now been replaced with heartburn! Oh the joys, but its all worth it in the end I guess!

Hi Suhaila,

What's that  ? I can't seem to find a moment to sit still...have started some spring-cleaning at home on Saturday. Then we've been to Rustenburg Kloof for a day out in the sun on Sunday. Not much relaxing there with a 3 year old wanting to play and swim the whole day. It was great fun though.

For the past two weeks or so my uterus would just out of the blue, for no apparent reason contract into a rock-hard-ball. Not painful, but to such an extent that I would feel out of breath for a moment. I called the gyne earlier today to just check what it could be....they tell me it is Braxton Hicks!!! I asked if it is not a bit early for that....guess what they told me..... she said that it is my body telling me that I'm to busy, I should relax a little more! I had a good laugh at that! Unfortunately I find it very hard to just sit and do nothing or watch tv. I usually tape movies on the pvr that I would like to watch, so that I don't have to sit through a whole hour and a half. I watch it in 10-20 minute sections every now and again. Have any of you been having these? She also said that it happens more often with every pregnancy.

My little one have been asking me every day if it is warm enough to swim, so I promised him this morning that we can open the swimming pool this afternoon and check the water temp. He just absolutely loves swimming, we used to swim every day after work before we started the evening ritual last summer.

As for buying anything yet....just a few pieces of clothing. I was waiting for the confirmation of the gender, just incase. At least I've started clearing out the room that we'll be turning into the new baby room.

Hope you all have a fantastic evening!!!

Oh yes, my little one is extremely busy in here, he is kicking so hard that you can feel him with your had on my tummy!! I love it!
