Hi Blackie,
Compliments of the season to you too!!!
I'm now curious...what happened that you got a scare?
...and another question, why are you going on maternity leave now already? Have you gone before the time with your other pregnancies too? Sorry I'm really just curious about how others go about their ways.
Well, my week off during Dec was very busy. Hubby and I decided on the spur of the moment to rip out our bathroom and redo it with a new corner bath and all. So there was no rest, working physically hard from early morning untill every evening round about 21h00! We should be finishing up this weekend (seeing as we now only have a short moment every day to spend working on it...and neither my husband or I have any experience in doing this

)
I told him I'm going to take a day's leave when it's done to just soak and enjoy it!! My body NEEDS it by now!
Apart from that - I am still battling so much just to eat and keep the food in! My gyne had a fight with me, with the last official visit (at 29 weeks) it showed that I had only gained 900grams. I went to see her quickly on Monday afternoon because I've been having a very runny tummy since last week Wednesday and have been throwing up non-stop since the weekend and just couldn't cope any more...now I've started losing weight. They monitored baby and all is still fine with him. She wanted to admit me to hospital right there and then, but luckily I had my little one with me, he's not allowed in the maternity ward and his school had not opened yet, hubby's working and there's nobody to look after him. So she allowed me at least to go home!!! I really don't have time now to go and just lie in hospital. There's a huge project that I've got to finish at work before this baby arrives!!!
I am just feeling so sorry for myself some days for feeling this constant nausea, if I don't eat I want to vomit - if I eat I want to vomit! Last night when I started making dinner, the moment I smelled the meat, I had to drop everything and get to the loo.....my poor little one was so worried, he was standing next to me, rubbing my back asking me if I'm OK! He's such a sweetie pie!
...no need to say that I couldn't stomach anything after that in any case...
At least there's only 7 weeks to go for me...
How's life otherwise for the rest of you ladies?
