May/June/July 2013 Mommies to be

Niki, yesalmost all sorted... just need to clean and pack all little miss's things... we are planning on sending her to Hayley for babysitting in the morning... Hayley is a very very energetic 11 year old, So Kaelyn always comes home and sleeps...

We will pack while she is out and fetch her just before lunch... feed her in the car (that should occupy her for a while anyhow). then she will likely nap for an hour or so... then its just 4 hours (ish) till bed time at 7. Should work...

Yeah going away with the family is such an awesome break i find with toddlers, especially since mine just looooves her "gumpa". So DH and i get mornings off as the moment she sees grandpa she forgets mommy and daddy are there...

Good luck - i hope the baby has his/her legs wiiiide open for you!!! I was so hoping to find out before i go to CT for christmas, but the last scan before we go is only going to be at 15 and a half ish weeks... so not really likely.

My morning sickness seems to be easing up, slowly getting less and less at night, but if i have a late night or a bad night then it comes back full force when i am tired the next day. but touch wood i have managed to avoid the MS tablets for about a week now.

Anyways - JellyBaby I hear you , my stomach also moved UP.. and I had a flat tummy before... dunno why its exploded like it did at 11 weeks?

On other news - I had my dates wrong. I'll be going for my 12 week scan on Wednesday - can't wait!

We tried the AngelCare doppler over the weekend - and I could hear a heartbeat. We could hear Hb already with my first born at 11 weeks. So I am just hoping and praying that baby was hiding somewhere far away ..

Good news - the morning sickness has gone... I now only have it when I smell 2 minute noodles.. Why do people eat this?? In an open office.. YUCK!

Kerry, the pictures of your daughter are so cute sounds like you are all sorted for December holidays, sure you will have a blast and sure the drive wont be so bad, If we have a really long trip we get up early and leave at like 3:30 and that way you get a few hours under your belt while the little one sleeps:) Good luck for your appointment this week, I know how relived I was once we did all the downs scans and blood test and all was fine and you see an actual little person at 13 weeks rather than the blob you get at 8 weeks

Shame Jellybaby sounds like you need a holiday, are you taking some leave over December or working through ? The MS is horrible but I think another week or two for me and it should be better, its sort of coming and going now rather than having it 24 hours a day and I managed to eat a bit more this weekend.

AFM- We went away camping this weekend, I haven't been in years, but we took Paige and I actually quite enjoyed it,even though I had a cold and it was over 36 degrees in Pilansberg. We are going away for a week over Christmas to Clarens, going with my folks and my sister and her husband so nice to have willing baby sitters around, gives us a bit of a break if we want. I am closing my business for 2 weeks over December so should gt a nice break.

We have our 16 week appointment next week Thursday, so looking forward to finding out the sex

No its okay its not kennelling... its actually an awesome place, cant remember what they are called but the dogs Kennel together (my parents and ours usually) they get a 3.5m by 3.5m open grassed enclosure and like a zoo there is another "room" at the back where they feed and sleep... its pretty pricey, but sooo worth it. they get walked every day and groom once a week... so really a pamper station.

Also if they have favourite toys or such you are encouraged to take them along... I think our yorki x russel and our Lab X retreiver will be fairly happy... as long as they are together.

The friends who normally house sit for us will also be away as will my parents...

Yeah we will definately have to find a portable DVD player for her... i think we can borrow my cousin's, but will have to check. and have decided that if/when we get take out from now till we go we will be hiding the toy that comes with and wrapping them up for opening in the car... Got the cutest my little pony from Mc dona'lds this weekend... (It was Dh and I's 4th anniversary on thursday so we spoilt ourselves with a night off cooking)

Oh by the way my next check up is thursday.... its the 13 week downs syndrome scan... so a biggie... looking forward to it!!!

Kerry, She is just too lovely!!!! Where are you booking your dogs in? what about finding out about a pet sitter rather? kenneling is very stressful for pets.

O sitting in a car for that long with a littlie isn't too bad, mind you I did end up singing baabaa black sheep for almost 17 hours on my way to ct once and never want to do that again. hee hee it wasn't that bad. I actually bought her a music cd for the car and borrowed my brothers portable dvd player. kept her busy most of the way

I know, but we still have to pay to book our own dogs into the kennels... so it seems they just passed that cost along to us, and somehow get down to capetown in the car with a two and a bit year old.... arrrghhh!!! a scary scary thought, being that mine has an aversion to sitting still!!!

Bless your tummy pics... i am the same... didn't want to shock you guys by adding my pic... funny thing is alot of poeple are telling me, but you don't look pregnant. Maybe my clothes make me look fat instead of pregnant? He he he... thing is i am already in maternity stuff as the regular clothes were tight a few weeks ago...

The MS is still here... its so so irritating! but i guess i can only prey it goes away soon.... like before i have to sit in the car for 14 hours or so... lol

Niki, I feel you on the MS. I am also still struggling. Not going away this year. Haven't been on holiday (not even a long weekend) in 12 years. Maybe one day when I'm big lol. What about you?

AFM Super happy its friday I'm still struggling with MS. Was home for the last 3 days as my munki had her tonsils and adenoids out on Tuesday. So its a short week for me lol only 1 day. I took my 12 week belly pic and wanted to die!!! My tummy has exploded and the pic shows me sucking up tummy
