Charmi, my Facebook name is Nicole Bowman, I wouldn't stress if there was a heartbeat at 8 weeks, sure its still fine now, i have heard those Dopplers are often a bit finicky

Shame Kerry, that is very stressful, but I have heard of plenty of Moms bleeding a bit and all is fine, I think its only a problem when there is sever cramping and lots of blood ( like your Dr said), try relax ( I know easier said than done) and your appointment will be here before you know it... let us know what happens- Why dont you try some rescue remedy its safe during pregnancy and might just take the edge off the stress.

Jelly baby, 16 week scan is next Thursday, it seems everyone is going for their appointments this week - glad your MS has passed, lucky you will get hubby to take a pic of my belly and upload later

AFM- trying to make a decision around the birth, I had a natural birth( hypnobirth) with no pain meds with my daughter and will do the same this time, just not sure if I will stick with the hospital or not, visiting Genesis on 8 December and have made an appointment with one of their back up Gynaes for the new year. If I like the clinic, which I think I will then I need to find a midwife soon... this pregnancy seems to be going so quickly feel like i need to get organized.

MS is also feeling better, managed to eat a proper dinner last night ( granted it was a tiny portion, but at least it wasn't just toast)

Charmi - i could sleep like that too!!!

Jellybaby - well erm my scan it was tomorrow at two... but then this morning i had my regular morning BM and after i wiped the TP was RED Like wiping after a period.

Anyhow after that... NOTHING.... so i phoned the gynea a few minutes ago and they said... DONT STRESS.... how on earth must i not stress? Argh... anyway apparently it happens sometimes and as long as theres no cramping and the blood has stopped they just said its okay, just come in tomorrow at 12:30 instead of 2... Oh and if you feel cramps... phone immediately!

but seriously now i am sitting here imagining cramps... doesn't help that i am a complete pessimist huh?

LOL, i guess it will all be okay, but really i don't need this now...

Kerry - added you on FB. Thanks! I'm with you on the boy thing - This pregnancy is totally different than my first.. so I am convinced its a boy!

Niki - I had my 8 week scan.. but that was a very long 4 weeks ago. Can't wait for tomorrow's scan though...

PS - Girls - I broke my own personal record yesterday - I was in bed when I got home at 4h45 - and slept RIGHT through until this morning!!! Poor husband said he tried to wake me up but I just drewled and mumbled so he left me.. HA HA !

Must say - I feel so much better today!

My LG also had a habbit of crossing her legs, and absolutely no amount of coaxing, poking and prodding could get her to show... eventually only found out at 22 weeks i think...

Fairly sure its a boy, or at least let me say i took the intelligender test and it said boy, thats 80% accurate. But this pregnancy is so different i am convinced it is too... i had absolutely no MS with the first!

Personally i am happy either way, i still have a baby room with pink accents and all my clothes from Kaelyn... so girl would be a blessing, but i am happy to get a boy too, for the experience

DH is really really preying for a boy though... and the family too.

Kerry sounds like you have everything all planned out sure it will be a smooth trip. My Dr said he had a slight idea of what the sex was at 13 weeks ( 60% chance its another girl, but hey I could have guessed 50 % chance ), so I think you might get lucky at 15 weeks and see something, will keep my fingers crossed for you. are you hoping for a boy or happy with another girl. Must admit I am leaning towards having another girls, I guess its what I know, everyone assumes I am desperate to have a boy, one of each would be nice but would also be thrilled with two girls:)

Glad you checked in Charmi, sure all will be fine with the heartbeat, didn't you see a Dr at 8 weeks ? good luck for your scan tomorrow, sure you will see/ hear a strong little heartbeat

We are going to the baby expo at the end of November, so want to know the sex by then baby better not be shy, with my first pregnancy, my daughter was crossing her legs and hiding " it " away
