Mommies - April 2014

Happy new year mamas. This is going to be a great year for us. I was just looking at my ticker and i see in 90 days my baby would be here. Just the other day i had gotten my bfp and now i am about to finish shopping for my nunu.

Makatk, i aslo have not confirmed yet i am still hoping for a girl. My appointment is on the 14th, i just cant wait.

These days my mind is palying tricks on me, i started work yesterday to do my month end, but simple things that i normally do in minutes took me hours to finish, i had the longest day ever. Even today i am still battling, i keep on forgetting how to do things. I have been doing this job for almost 6 years, i guess its just porridge brain. Finishing my deadlines was mission impossible. I hope next week i will be my old self again.

Pregnant fairy, we have not heard from you in a while now, hala at us when you have a moment so we know you are ok.

I see ladies you are very busy on whatsup, for me its a mission to even read what you are chatting about. But very soon, i will have time to chat.

I'd just like to wish everyone a blessed Christmas and joyous New Year.

For me getting to know you ladies has been a time of sadness and joy and celebration. We have discussed so many things and we have crosssed boundaries such as race, age and location with our pregnancies and it feels truly aweseome. Thinking about it in this light and espcially in this month with the passing of Madiba it really inspires me that this country, once we can find a common cause, can be great.

To Santie and Mommyme, who experienced great loss during this time. My heart still aches for you but it also has hope that you will find the peace and happiness that you both so strongly deserve.

To Hasie and Pregnant Fairy I hope this message doesn't make you feel left out, I suppose because of everything we have shared together it just makes it more profound the relationships that I have developed with the rest of the ladies in the short time I've been on this forum and I'm very sure in the new year I will get to know you guys much better as well.

Yes sterretjie my baby is much more active, sometimes I wonder what he is doing inside there. I would have had an appointment the 23rd as well but then I decided to skip December and go only in Jan 14. Miss seeing my baby though
