Teribeary i will be seeing my Gynae on the 18th as well,but it will be my 12 week visit.

So far I don't have any morning sickness. my breast are on and off tender. I was once not sure if i am really pregnant as i did not feel anything, but then now my tummy is starting to show and my clothes are so uncomfortable now.

Yesterday was a cape town discovery walk, I did a 10 km, i must sat that i felt great yesterday but today i feel like i have been hit by a train, i am so exhausted. Are you ladies still doing any exercises? I go to the gym every now and then but i am so scared to overdo it.

I must say that except for the tender breasts and mood swings, oh yes and absolute lack of sleep that I'm really not feeling pregnant. Haven't had any signs of morning sickness - feeling nauseous every now and again but it goes away as quickly as it came... I'm still walking around with that horrible feeling of "Am I really pregnant?" even though 2 tests and my GP confirmed it...

Seeing my Gyne for my first checkup on the 18th which feels like it's years away.

I hope the morning sickness gets better

Congrats, this time it's nice to have all the first time mommies, this is really a great place to chat, we all understand what we are going through!!

To the rest of you girls, why are you so quiet???


How is everyone doing?

I am still having a hard time, nausea not doing me good, also can't stomach some foods, luckily it seems this baby has a dislike in anything sweet, I mean anything!!

Hope you are all doing well, luckily holidays soon, so we can sit with our feet in the air!!!

I am so glad that I found this forum! I am 7 weeks pregnant with the 1st baby so this is obviously an extremely exciting yet nerve wrecking time!

I'm looking forward to making some new friends and having ladies whom I can share the good and bad experiences with through out this amazing journey we call pregnancy

Sorry it is that time of the year busy, busy, busy!

Welcome Martwes, glad to see our little group growing.

Glad to hear everything is going well with you Ndinawe and MM!!

Ndinawe, Panado's are safe to take hey, Dr's ok it, so you don't have to be scared to take it.

Well you all know this is my 2nd baby, with Zilke I had an absolute breeze, almost didn't know I was pregnant if it wasn't for the tummy, but now ladies I suffer.......... feel like an elephant......uncomfortable, heartburn, morning sickness, and oh dear am I emotional!!!!

DH is also on a conference so I think that just contributes to me feeling awful!!! And a 3 year old running around me from morning till night with me having to do everything..........oh no!!!!

Ok enough of all my complaining, Ladies, it is almost weekend..... bring it on!!!

My son is now 19 months old, and a real busy body... Not easy to cope with while feeling extremely tired. But all worth it in the end.

I can't wait for my first appointment, although it is only in two weeks time.

So happy for you that everything went well with your appointment. Is this your first pregnancy?

Welcome Martwes! Congrats on the pregnancy! How old is your first baby now?

Ndinawe sorry to hear about your headache..sucks to not be able to take pain killers. Ive heard that tissue salts help with headaches and are safe during pregnancy. Maybe try that?

Hanlie I am so glad to hear your appointment went well! Its so exciting to finally know things are ok isnt it

We should all have a lot of fun knowing that we have winter babies! Cold night feedings and nappie changes! FUN! haha

We went for our first app on Tuesday. It was so amazing to hear the heartbeat!! I Cried instantly! Followup in 5 weeks.
Here is our first picture! (i was so relieved she got a good view with just an external scan...I was dreading the internal!!)
