Welcome Silvana!!! It's a little girl for you, had a great experience withy first, having a great but different experience with my second, dr seems to think it's a boy, maybe that explains it.

Don't worry about showing, give it a month you will catch up. Me with my second plus being bloated, I was showing from week 10 almost and I remembered with Malia my girl I was really worried that I was hallucinating the whole pregnancy because until well into 20 weeks I had no visible bump.

Turning 30 next year in march, so looking forward to my birthday gift as well,making this pregnancy extra special!!

Hi ladies, just wanted to check on everyone...

I am Silvana, Colombian married to South African, expecting our first little girl in march 2015 - it's going to be my very own birthday present!

It's been an amusing 20+ weeks, so far no morning sickness, no bloating, no weird cravings or anything similar, in fact my belly only started showing this week, which got me a bit worried, since I've seen a few moms to be with huge bumps compare to mine, Dr said everything was ok and it was common even tough the baby is slightly big I guess the genes are playing games, I am short and my hubby is big .

We are checking progress every 4 weeks and our "beanie" is doing great.

We have started organizing the nursery, it's so excited, but my emotions are all over the place, I have no family in Jburg, and we just lost (2wks ago) my husbands dad who was staying with us, so there is a huge mix of emotions going on, we are trying to focus on the wellbeing of our baby and that keeps us moving.

Just wanted to introduce myself and see who is else is around the same time to share some thoughts!

Hi everyone, it's been pretty quiet so was wondering how you all are.

I'm not so great! Well ok under the circumstances I suppose. My first scan was a week ago at 8.5 weeks and it did not go well. Pregnant, but no baby... No heartbeat. 2nd time in 4 months after having two perfect boys a few years ago!

Oh well, D&C was on Friday and doc has ordered loads of tests. Right now I am really angry and swear we won't try again (this was supposed to be easy like the first two) but, as my hubby says, now is not the time to make such decisions.

Oh I am probably freaking you all out! Sorry! Please don't worry, remember I have two perfect kids and doc reckons I'm just having the worst luck ever.

That's life hey? Just when you think things are all falling into place - bam, they fall apart! I have wonderful support from my family and friends, I'll be ok. It really sucks though.

Congrats tisha! I'm feeling a bit jealous now, my appointment is on Monday which feels like ages to wait. Its so reassuring to see and hear that heartbeat.

Glad it went ok - sounds like you have a good gynae.

How is everyone doing? Feeling good/bad/awful? My symptoms seemed to have eased up a bit, but still bloated like a puffer fish, so looking forward to getting past this!

So i managed to get an earlier appointment with the gynae!!

Everything went ok! i'm 6 weeks 4 days today, little noonoo measured in at 3.3mm and had a heartbeat of around 115bpm!

I'm so glad everything is fine!

How are you guys doing?

2Boys - The appointment went ok...but still.. being naked in front of another man is not brilliant at all. But at least he made me feel comfortable and only called DH in for the scan... =P Luckily otherwise he might've wanted to punch him or something!!
