Hi all - congrats tisha, you must be almost the same as me now: 6.5 weeks or so. Also eagerly awaiting my 1st appointment on 11 August.
This is my 3rd pregnancy (plus two m/c's) so I've had a variety of 1st appointments! It really varies depending on the doc. In my experience they take your history (if a new patient), do general checks such as blood pressure and urine, and a scan - although apparently not all scan before 12 weeks (be warned - early scans are done via the v-j. Bit of a shock if expecting the sonar on your belly

)
I am feeling awful! Amazing how I could forget feeling this bad!! So dead tired and my stomach is all over the place - cramps, gas, nausea. Miserable! And as luck would have it my 6 yr old broke his collar bone on Sunday (poor boy) and I have a major work deadline this week.
Oh well that's how it goes. Are any of you managing to exercise? I was running pre-pregnancy but now it makes me feel awful. Even walking the dog sets off fatigue and nausea
All the best, lets hope these next few weeks fly by.....
